Welcome to the dummies guide on how to get stronger in Another Eden. Here are some tips and tricks on progressing further into the game, some basic strategies and leveling your characters fast in the game. Before we get started, keep in mind that this guide will be updated which also include character tier list + guides for certain chapters/bosses. As you progress further, you will get to unlock more mechanics and features in the game.

So let’s begin! Look for treasure chests and sparklesWhen you explore a town or a dungeon, there are treasure chests and sparkles located at various spots. Make sure to look for them around the map for materials/equipment. Tap the ‘!’ icon once you are able to find a treasure chest to open. As for sparkles, tap on it to obtain them. Complete the common quests and character quests firstWhen you reach Eizion for the first time, you will get to complete the common (orange ‘!’ icons) and character (purple ‘!’ icons) quests.

I highly suggest to complete them first then move on to the story. You can also mark a quest by tapping ‘Quest’, select a quest then tap Priority Quest. This will appear as a point on the world and mini-map.

You will be rewarded with Chronos Stones which will be used at the Gallery of Dreams, various materials, and EXP scrolls. Expand your mini map + Fast TravelYour mini-map will be shown at the top right of the screen. To expand the mini-map, tap on it and you can see all the different icons and your current location. You can also fast travel by tapping ‘Map’ to open the World Map, then select the location that you want to travel. Fast Travel is great for completing quests much quicker.Suggested 5-star characters (Best tier characters)I highly suggest saving 1000 Chrono Stones and use the ’10 Allies Bundle’ (Menu-Dreams).

Though the 5-star rate is pretty bad, you will still get a 4-star character from the ’10 Allies Bundle’. Mariel (Weapon Type: Staff/Wand) Overall Rating 5★ – This character is considered the best character to use in the entire game by the Japanese community. Why is she OP you may ask? She can buff allies and her healing skills are insane which removes negative status effects on the entire team. Her refresh leap skill enables to increase the speed of an ally for 3 turns and her Valor Chant (Switch skill) increases type resistance of all party members by 15%. Annabel (Weapon Type: Sword) (Main Element: Water) (Not Released Yet!) Overall Rating 5★ – Another super OP character.

She can use Elemental Wall buff increases resistance all allies and can also heal. Her attack skills can also debuff all enemies which are great against mobs of enemies. Mighty (Weapon Type: Staff/Wand) (Main Element: Water) Overall Rating 4★ – This is the character that I currently use for my main party and he is pretty good. His Aqua Wall buff skill increases physical resistance and fire resistance of all allies for 3 turns. He can all deal high water damage at single-target + group of enemies which can inflict sleep or stun. His Valor Chant (Switch skill) is not really that good which only decreases water type resistance on enemies.Suggested 4-star characters (Best tier characters)You will be given a selection of 4-star characters to encounter from the tutorial. So which one should you choose?

My answer: Get Ciel. He has rated the best 4-star character in the game by the Japanese community. The reason is due to his late game skills: Elemental Song and Heart Break. Elemental Song increases type resistance of all party members by 30% for 5 turns which is ridiculously insane. Heart Break deals piercing damage + power debuff on an enemy which is great against bosses. But his Valor Chant is the most OP in the entire game which increases intelligence and speed for all allies. Miyu (Weapon Type: Sword) (Main Element: Fire) Overall Rating 5★ – This character will be given to you if you pre-register the game. She deals fire damage + inflicts negative debuffs like reduce type resistance and intelligence.

Her Valor Chant is the same as Mariel which is pretty good. Overall, she is a great replacement for Aldo (Rip the main character lol).

Pom (Weapon Type: Staff/Wand) Overall Rating 5★ – Pom is a great alternative to Mariel if you get her instead. Even though she does not have healing skills, her Refresh skill removes negative status effects on the entire team. Her buff skills are great and she can debuff all enemies with her Valor Chant. Riica (Weapon Type: Hammer) (Main Element: Earth) Overall Rating 4★ – She will join your party when you reach Eizion Airport for the first time which is quite early in the game.

Far cry new dawn rescuers go under. The reason why I put her high in the tier list is that she has very good healing skills due to her Power Heal. She can also debuff an enemy with her Mind Stamp skill (Decreases intelligence). I use her for my main party mainly for healing and debuffing which she does the job quite well.I not going to include 3-star characters in the tier list because they are pretty useless in the late game IMO. Once you obtain your new characters, make sure to put them in your main party (Menu-Party-Tap the ‘+’ icon-Select a character). How do I level up my characters? There are 2 main ways to level up your characters.

The first is by defeating enemies which EXP gained will affect only your current party (Both main and reserves). The second is by using EXP scrolls (Main-Party-Status-Tap the small ‘+’ icon) to increase your character EXP instantly. Always upgrade your characters’ ability boardsEvery time your character levels up, he/she will gain an ability point (AP). You can use these ability points to increase stats or unlock skills for your character (Main-Board-Select a character). I suggest using your ability points to prioritize unlocking skills first then increase stats. Some characters, however, will require documents in order to unlock their final board.

Upgrade your weapons and equipment regularly at the BlacksmithYou will be able to purchase weapons and equipment once you reach Eizon for the first time. Every town will have a blacksmith. I highly recommend upgrading weapons and equipment at least for all your characters in the main party.

I suggest tapping the ‘Try On’ button before you purchase a weapon/equipment. Each weapon or equipment will require different materials and Git. You can tap on the ‘Location’ button and the game will show you the locations that each material will drop. Another DungeonOnce you defeated Visus Embryo at Chapter 10, you will be sent to Spacetime Rift. To unlock the Another Dungeon, talk to the girl beside the blue door.

Another Dungeon is where you can take on dungeons you have completed before on harder difficulties. I highly recommend doing the Another Dungeon every day as you will be able to obtain items like materials, documents, and badges (From defeating the boss).

Basic battle tipsDuring battles, some enemies/most bosses will cast negative effects/ailments on your party or cast buffs on itself. To display all the current effects/aliments from either enemies or party members, tap ‘Status’. This will give you information on which effects are going to expire after a turn. Most enemies/bosses have its own weaknesses which you can abuse to deal more damage. To check each enemy’s/boss’s weakness, tap any character then tap and hold a skill to see if the enemy is weak to that attack.

Do not use skills that have ‘Resist’ on an enemy/boss (Reduced damage). You can also change targets by tapping another enemy. This will make the entire party target that enemy.

Switch between your characters during battleThe ‘Switch’ mechanic is one of the special mechanics in the game. This is where you can switch between characters between main and reserves. The character/s that is/are switched to the main team will cast its own Valor Chant. Valor Chants are buffs which increase stats for all characters in the main team for 1 turn.

One thing to mention is that characters who are at the reserves will not be in battle but they will recover both HP and MP after each turn.To do so, tap any character then tap ‘Switch’. After that, select a character from the reserves team. There is no limit in switching between characters so I suggest using this mechanic often during battles. Here is a video from a player who uses the ‘Switch’ mechanic against a boss. Using the ‘Switch’ mechanic properly will give you an edge over your enemies.

Use Another Force to finish off bosses/horrorsAnother Force will be unlocked to you once you defeated Cyrus from Chapter 9. You can see the Another Force gauge at the top right of the screen during battle. Attacking an enemy fills up the Another Force’s gauge. If the gauge reaches half-full or more, you can activate Another Force by tapping the shield button. This will allow all your characters in the main team to use skills without any MP cost until the gauge runs out. Enemies will not be able to take any actions when Another Force is activated.I highly suggest activating Another Force when the boss/horror HP is below 40% at least and your Another Force gauge is full.

This will give your characters more time to attack the boss/horror which the damage dealt will be much more due to more combo attacks. Not only that, one or multiple characters will unleash a special attack once Another Force has ended.Boss GuideIf you still have issues defeating a certain boss are reading this guide, the best way is to keep leveling up your characters + upgrade you character ability boards. Doing Another Dungeon is also a great way as they drop materials which can be crafted for stronger equipment/weapon for your characters. So let us look at each boss you will encounter during the story.

Beast VallesWeakness: FireResistant: WindHe is pretty easy to take down if you encounter him for the first time. His attacks include a single target normal attack, resistance down debuff and a single target poison attack.

When his HP reaches below 50%, he will charge a high AOE attack after three turns.Abuse fire skills against the boss since it is weak to fire (Aldo’s fire slash, Miranda’s fire slash/blaze ax). When he charges his attack, keep attack him/heal your party since he will not attack during the next 3 turns. GalliardWeakness: WindResistant: EarthHis AOE attack can be very painful especially if he is not debuffed (Uses this attack after 3 turns). Riica will be a lifesaver in this fight (Or other healers in your party) as she can heal your entire party.

Since it is weak to wind, Amy or any other characters which have wind attacks is recommended. Just make sure to keep your party healed + debuff boss/buff your party and you will not have trouble in this fight. You can also switch your characters in case one of your character’s HP is very low. SalamanderWeakness: WaterResistant: FireMake sure to have your party who uses water skills as it will make this boss a lot easier. The boss will start at its normal state so buff your party/debuff your party first then mow that thing down with water skills. Once it reaches 0, the boss will fall to its downed state for 3 turns.

Do not debuff the boss and just keep attacking the boss (Debuffs will reset when the boss changes state). Similar to Galliard, its attacks do AOE damage so keep your party healed if possible (below 50% HP) or switch between characters. CyrusWeakness: EarthResistant: WaterThis boss is pretty challenging for beginners as his attacks are pretty strong especially his counter slash attack which deals high AOE damage to your party. Characters like Ciel (Crush Arrow), Riica (Crush Stamp), Yio (Rock Slash) or other characters who use earth skills will be useful in this fight. The strategy is to keep buffing your characters with defensive buffs (Increase type resistance buffs/physical resistance buffs) and keep debuffing the boss to reduce its damage.

When a party member reaches below 50% HP, either heal them or switch to another character. Visus EmbryoWeakness: RandomResistant: RandomI highly recommend filling the Another Force gauge to half full before fighting the boss. There are 2 things to look out for in this boss fight, its single target sealed skill and when it reaches below 50% HP. Its single target sealed skill will lock a random skill for that character affected by it, preventing them to use that skill for that turn. When the boss reaches below 50% HP, it uses a ‘Time Search’ skill, increases its attack permanently for every turn. By then the Another Force gauge should be full already so use it and use all high damage skills against the boss to end the fight.

Ogre RancoremWeakness: NoneResistant: NoneThis boss attacks pretty hard (does physical damage only) especially when it buffs itself which increases its power greatly. Have a party member who can debuff the boss with power debuff or buff your party with physical resistance. I would also recommend having a healer in your team. Keep your party alive (heal them or switch to another character) and once the boss HP reaches below 50%/40%, use Another Force to finish off the boss. Beast King/Beast King GuildnaWeakness: NoneResistant: NoneI highly recommend leveling all your characters to level 35 or above as this boss fight is pretty tough. Your recommended party should be 2 main attackers, 1 supporter and 1 healer + 1 healer and 1 attacker (Reserves).

I use Mighty, Ciel, Riica and Miyu for my main party and Prai + Soria for this boss fight since I do not have Mariel. This boss has 2 forms: Beast King and Beast King Guildna. Its first form Beast King doesn’t pose much of a threat. Debuff or buff your party to reduce the damage and heal if possible. Try not to spend MP skills in this form as you will need it during the 2nd form.Once it transforms to Beast King Guildna (2nd form), this is where the battle gets difficult.

There are 2 boss attacks you should take note. 1 of them is the Begone Vermin! Attack which deals high AOE damage to your entire party (Heal your party after this attack). Another attack is the This is my real power! Attack which deals 90% of a character’s overall HP (Switch your character after this attack).

The strategy for this boss fight is the same as most of the boss fights, keep your party buffed, debuff the boss, heal your party if they are below 50% HP and use Another Force to end the fight once the boss HP reaches below 50%/40%. Synth DroneWeakness: FireResistant: WindThis boss does not do much damage as compared to the other bosses but its attacks do inflict sleep on one of your characters (Prevents any action during the turn). It can also buff itself with additional type resistance every 3 turns. Since this boss is weak to fire, characters with fire skills will make the fight easier. The strategy for this boss fight is the same as most of the boss fights, keep your party buffed, debuff the boss, heal your party if they are below 50% HP and use Another Force to end the fight once the boss HP reaches below 50%/40%. Time Layer DistortionWeakness: NoneResistant: NoneThis boss has 3 different forms which will change once it reaches a certain HP.

The first form does single target damage + Galliard AOE attack. Once you deal enough damage the boss will change to its second form which its attacks will change. It does single target water damage, inflicts stun and uses Beast King Guildna strong AOE attack. As for the first two forms as long as you keep your party buffed, debuff the boss, heal your party if they are below 50% HP you should be fine. When the boss reaches below 20% HP, it will change to its final form: Big Bang. It will only use a single target instant kill attack which will wipe your party if you do not defeat the boss ASAP.

Use Another Force to counter this form to finish off the boss in 1 turn. HelenaWeakness: WindResistant: EarthHelena is a pretty easy boss to be dealt with especially when your party has stronger skills by now. It uses the same pattern of attacks from Synth Drone and it is weak to wind.

Characters who use wind skills will work wonders in this fight. The strategy for this boss fight is the same as most of the boss fights, keep your party buffed, debuff the boss, heal your party if they are below 50% HP, switch between characters if their MP is nearly empty and use Another Force to end the fight once the boss HP reaches below 50%/40%. Synth HydraWeakness: EarthResistant: WaterThe only attack you will have to watch out for is its poison attacks.

Every 2/3 turns, the boss will change its forms. Once it does, any character inflicted by poison will take additional poison damage (About 1000 damage). The only way to counter it is by using a character who has a skill that restores all negative statuses (Helena, Prai, Pom) to remove the poison effect.

Other than that, the strategy for this boss fight is the same as most of the boss fights, keep your party buffed, debuff the boss, heal your party if they are below 50% HP, switch between characters if their MP is nearly empty and use Another Force to end the fight once the boss HP reaches below 50%/40%. King PalsifalWeakness: NoneResistant: NoneThis boss fight is similar to the Salamander boss fight. It’s normal state only does single target damage + stun. After 3 turns, it will change to its shield state which its attacks are stronger this time. It does strong AOE damage, heals itself and inflicts seal status.

Make sure to debuff the boss when it is at shield state to reduce the damage taken. Keep your party buffed, heal your party if they are below 50% HP, switch between characters if their MP is nearly empty and use Another Force when it is at its normal state (DO NOT use it when it is at shield state) to end the fight once the boss HP reaches below 50%/40%. Beast Angel Geo AnguirusWeakness: NoneResistant: NoneThis boss can be a nuisance for 2 reasons. First off, it will always use AOE wind or earth attacks every turn which characters who are weak to wind or earth will take more damage than usual. Secondly, once the boss HP reaches below 60%, it will use “Angel’s Song” which will come in different forms. Angel Song (Below 60% HP) – Physical resistance down to all party members.

Crescendo (Below 40% HP) – Intelligence resistance down to all party members. Da Capo (Below 20% HP) – Power, Intelligence and speed down to all party members. Feene (Below 10% HP) – Instant kill single target per turnSince this boss mainly attacks with magic damage, have a character that has the intelligence debuff to reduce the damage taken.

As for negative statuses by the boss, you can counter it is by using a character who has a skill that restores all negative statuses (Helena, Prai, Pom). Make sure to keep your party buffed, heal your party if they are below 50% HP or switch between characters if their MP is nearly empty. Once the boss activates Da Capo, activate Another Force immediately to finish off the boss. Fused PhantomWeakness: NoneResistant: RandomThis boss is pretty easy since its attacks do single target damage twice which is not very high as long as you debuff the boss and buff your party. Each turn the boss will change its elemental resistance along with its attacks.

Once the boss HP is below 40%, use Another Force to end the fight.Water resistance (Attacks with water element) - Fire resistance (Attacks with fire element) - Wind resistance (Attacks with wind element) - Earth resistance (Attacks with earth element) - Water resistance Kronos MenasWeakness: NoneResistant: NoneBefore you take on the final boss of this game, make sure to defeat the other 5 crystals that are found around the dungeon. The reason for this is if you do not defeat all 5 crystals when you fight the last boss, the crystals that you have not defeated will aid the final boss. Defeating all the crystals beforehand will make the final boss much easier.Similar to the Fused Phantom, Kronos Menas attacks will come in a pattern.

The only attack you must be careful of it’s his ultimate attack: Menas Shock. This attack deals 1200 damage to all party members (Buffs does not reduce the damage). Make sure to heal all your party members after this attack.

Another eden game

As long as you keep your party members buffed and healed, you should not have problems with the boss. This is the Kronos Menas usual attack pattern.Normal attack (Single target) - Meteor Impact (AOE attack to all party members) - White Eraser (Cancels all party members’ buffs) - Lightning Laser (AOE attack to all party members) - Menas ShockThank you so much for reading this guide.
