How to do Multiplayer in Code VeinTo get the Co-Op working Code Vein, you need to send out a distress signal. You can do this from the menu screen in your game. When you send a distress signal out, you’re going to have to wait for someone to answer it. This process can take a bit of time, and some players have said they have difficulty sending a particular distress signal out with no one answering it.When someone enters your game, they cannot start a boss fight for you. They need to wait until you engage the enemy, and then they can fight.

Additionally, if you drop something in the world, your guest cannot pick it up. However, the guest can pick up anything the boss drops in their instance. It’s not going to take from your world. Instead, having a guest there with you increases the chances of the two of you acquiring new, better loot. It’s encouraged to play with other players. If you want to join someone else’s game, you’re going to need to look for their distress signal in the menu. You’re going to view the same menu you’d browse through if you were to send out a signal. Any progress you make in the game gets saved to the host’s world, not to yours.

If you jump into someone’s game hours ahead of yours, the world is not going to progress, even if you beat a boss.

Thispeople dont understand that they are judging the game unfairlyIts like this in ALOT of games truth be told if he uses all of his regen from one mistle to the next in some of these zones your a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ coop partner or hes just bad. He still activates them (Thus can teleport to them and respawns there if he dies) But still.99% sure that in Dark Souls you could at least activate the next bonfires even if you couldn't rest at them.

Multiplayer

Plus I said in the original post that that was my main issue, he CAN'T activate them when I'm there. Also something else we discovered since then, he also can't use Regen Extension or Activation factors while I'm present.seriously? I have to kill myself for him to use a permanent upgrade item? Come to think of it. Unlike Dark Souls, this game has no PVP or invasions. As such why can't the host use mistles even with a co op partner around? I can understand not teleporting but the rest should function as normal.Consider the following scenario:What is the difference between,A. The host being able to use mistles normally to get regens for both players back orB.

The helping player having to go kill themselves so that the host can use the mistles and then helping player rejoins.Answer?2 loading screens for the helper and time wasted.that's literally the only difference.
