PFI(petersburg Fisheries inc.) would work us till we couldnt work any more. 10 to 18 hour shifts. The pay was good but i dont think it was good enough for the ammount of tiime we spent working.
With very little to no days off all there was was work no time to even collect one self. Managment didnt care to much about its underlings. We where mostly just bodies for the meat grinder as they would call it. Met alot of great people there had a awsome team at my side who became good friends. Best prt of the work day would be leaving it.

Seafood processing is by no means an easy job, with long days and physically and emotionally demanding work, but it is a god job if you want to get a lot of money fast and escape mundane life for a while. Be prepared to work all day long while sleep-deprived; the work is not extremely difficult, but it is repetitive and there is a lot of it. Your crew is what gets you through the day. Icicle will pay for your transportation from Seattle to whatever plant you work at, and provide meals and housing for the duration of your working season.
