TRACK DOWN SOME NEW LEADS Set time to daytime. Next, you get a text from Ryan that she wants to talk. Nancy says that this is the card that was used the night of the murder. Check off: “Find out who the owner of the keycard from Mason and Ellie’s office is”. The Deadly Device - Home; Awesome Inc. What is mason's computer password on nancy drew: the deadly device? I have googled, looked on youtube, everything! Nancy Drew Deadly Device Walkthrough. Source(s): 0 0 0. Login to reply the answers Post. Has anyone found all the missing cat parts? I am missing one more leg and i cant find it anywhere!

There are two levels of gameplay, Amateur and Master sleuth modes, each offering a different difficulty level of puzzles and hints, however neither of these changes affect the actual plot of the game. The game is loosely based on two books, The Crime Lab Case (2000) and In and Out of Love (1997).Theoretical physicist Niko Jovic is found fatally electrocuted in a remote Colorado laboratory, Technology of Tomorrow Today, under suspicious circumstances. Relating to wireless transmission of electricity, Niko Jovic's work could sell for millions on the market. With the case stuck at a dead end, the lab owner has asked Nancy Drew to go undercover to investigate this murder.

Tensions rise as attempts on Nancy's life start, Nancy must get to the bottom of this case before the murderer catches up with her.Additional voice work was performed by Jayme Crandall. Well i had just got 3 cat parts.i colour grid.i blank key card.i book.and one evidence(don't know what' so how can i move further i am confused.and also iShadow at the Water's edge is my favorite but I did like the Deadly Device in a way. Deadly Device is actually shorter than Shadow at the Water's Edge and slightly easier. The evidence thing isn't important.

Its just clues she finds that's unusable that might figure out who was the culprit (literally just pay no mind to it) You aren't stuck at a SPECIFIC location/time. You still have a lot off different things you can do.

I just recommend going both day and night to every room to see who or what is different. And, if you haven't already gone to the security room when (Gary? The security guy) isn't there. Sound the alarm to make him leave.

Then you have a good amount of time before he comes back to the office. (This can only be done at night). And just as a forewarning. The cat parts is just an extra bonus. You don't actually have to complete it all but you can if you want.

Help I am stuck! The keycard wont work. I used the computer in security office and solved the color code, and ran the card through the machine but it still wont unlock the Main LabEven if the colored blocks you arrange on the security computer match the colored blocks on the piece of paper perfectly, they have to be put on in the correct order. If they aren't, the card won't work.

I think this isn't technically a glitch but is definitely a tough game issue. Fortunately, the new games include hints for players who need them. Look at the task box and click the blue question mark next to 'use key card to open a locked door.' Click on 'I need a hint' until the button says 'I need a solution.' The picture has numbered the color blocks, and it will tell you the exact order to put things in. The picture on the paper you found is deceiving; I followed it to the letter and I still had to look at the solution.

Best of the old games: Danger on Deception Island, Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon, and Phantom of Venice. I could replay those games a million times and still have fun each time.

I just love them.Worst old game: Creature of Kapu Cave. Jesus, that game is a dumpster fire.I haven’t played all of the new games so it’s harder for me to pick from them.Best new game: The Captive Curse. I was really pleasantly surprised by this one. I had fun the entire time I played it.Worst new game: The Deadly Device. I thought I would really love this one because of the science theme and the murder mystery, but for whatever reason I was just bored by it. This is one of the few ND games that I felt like I had to force myself to finish.

My all-time favorite is The Final Scene, based solely on characters and storyline, but I love old theaters so maybe that's why. Best game based on game play, for me, is either Shadow Ranch or Haunted Mansion. Shadow Ranch had super fun puzzles, that were challenging without being impossible, and it had a wide variety of them. Haunted Mansion had a great plot, was creepy, full of history, and there was plenty to do.My most hated game was Ransom of the Seven Ships. I've always bought the games as soon as they came out (starting after Haunted Mansion as that was the first one I ever received, as a gift) and played until I beat them.

Except when it came to that one. It took me 4 years to finally get around and finish it. Haunting of Castle Malloy and Ghost of Thornton Hall are close behind though.Sorry for the novel:) I sure miss these games so much. The nostalgia is real, haha. Older games is tough because I love a lot of them.Best old:Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon/Treasure in the Royal TowerWorst old:Creature of Kapu CaveI love those two for how they make me feel.

They're not the hardest or most challenging but very engaging. I hate Kapu Cave for its lack of being a game. Skip it unless you feel compelled to play all of them.Best new:Phantom of Venice/Shadow at the Waters EdgeWorst new:Ransom of the Seven ShipsI haven't played a few of the newer ones so this might be different if I had played all of them.

I love Phantom for all the spy/detective work and Shadow for the atmosphere. I hate Ransom because it's boring and the villain is recycled from a previous game that I hadn't yet played so it spoiled that game for me too. I'm definitely not salty almost 10 years later. My favorite older games are Secret of Shadow Ranch, Curse of Blackmoor Manor, and Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon. SHA and TRN are probably the two I’ve played the most out of all the games. My least favorite older game is Creature of Kapu Cave. While I have replayed it, it remains the only game I’ve beaten without using outside help (walkthrough, message boards, etc.).

I just didn’t find it challenging like the other games. My favorite newer games are Haunting of Castle Malloy, Tomb of the Lost Queen, and Ghost of Thornton Hall. My least favorites (and least favorites of the whole series) are Ransom of the Seven Ships and The Shattered Medallion.

Those are the only two games I’ve played only once. Best old games: Blackmoor Manor, Shadow Ranch, and Crystal Skull. All three have such enthralling atmospheres to them. Blackmoor has so many cool puzzles and I felt challenged all the way through. Shadow Ranch is one of the easier games. It's challenging enough to keep you interested, but you can be more relaxed while playing. Crystal Skull also has interesting puzzles and a neat storyline. I seem to be drawn to the darker games.Worst old games: Kapu Cave, Old ClockKapu is just kind of a train wreck.

It was the first game I owned so I'm not sure why I kept playing Nancy Drew after that, but I'm glad I did. Old Clock is a very simple game. It's not terrible, but the driving around is really annoying. The first time I played it, I finished it within 2 hours which is really short for me.Best new games: Captive Curse, Silent SpyBoth of these games have interesting storylines and great puzzles. I actually had no idea who the culprit was by the end of it so that was a nice change. Silent Spy has really cool cutscenes about Nancy's childhood which I thought was neat.Worst new games: Trail of the Twister, Deadly DeviceI actually haven't finished Trail of the Twister. I couldn't finish the photograph task after spending 3 hours trying to find different scenes so I quit.

I'm going to try it again soon so I'll update if I change my mind. Deadly Device was sooooo boring! It looked like such an interesting game and I was so excited to play it, but I lost interest so early.I still haven't played Shattered Medallion or any past that. I'm playing through all of my old games first and then I'll try them. Best old games for me is: Last Train to blue moon canyon (which will always be my absolute favorite since it was the first one I ever played, plus you get the hardy boys), Secret of shadow ranch, message in a haunted mansion, stay tuned for danger and Curse of blackmoore manorWorst old game: Creature of Kapu Cave (Oh god what did they do to joe)Best new game: Labyrinth of Lies, Shadow at the waters edge, alibi in ashes, silent spy and captive curseworst game: Shattered Medallion, Ghost of Thorton hall, and haunting of castle malloyI’m going to go play some ND games now.

I tend to split the series into old, medium, and new, so I'll go by that.Old is SCK-TRNMedium is DAN-CAPNew is ASH-SEAMy favorites:My favorite old games are TRT, MHM, DDI, SHA, and CUR. TRT was my first game, and MHM was my second.

Due to that, TRT is my favorite old game (and probably in the whole series). I got a pack of SHA-TRN next, so I played those early as well. SHA was my third game I played, CUR my fourth. I got DDI after I had played several of the older games, so my love for that one isn't as biased. I think that one is because of the setting and Hilda.

A lot of those games I listed are VERY atmospheric. I like atmosphere in my ND games. My favorite medium games are WAC, SAW, and CAP. I like haunted themed games (though not too scary since I'm a wimp). So, that really drew me in to SAW and CAP. With WAC, I felt like the characters were realistic (yes, I know a lot of people disagree with this opinion).

A lot of the characters were petty, which is how teenage girls often are.My favorite of the newer games is GTH. I like several of the others, but not as much as GTH. Again, atmosphere. It was also about as creepy as I can handle without not being able to sleep at night.

DED and SPY are also good, and the ending of LIE is superb. My Least FavoritesMy least favorite older games are SSH and CLK, by far. SSH was soooo boring. The setting was small, and I only liked one character.

I also felt like i wans't really solving a mystery most of the time and just patching up problems in a museum. With CLK, I hated having to use gas to deliver telegrams to get money to buy gas. There is also a big 'get this item from this person, but wait, they need you to get something form someone else first' chain, and it's terrible. My least favorite middle games are CRE, RAN, HAU, SCKR, and TOT. CRE was bug part simulator.

Even the Hardy's couldn't save it. RAN is 100% puzzles (and I beat it before another certain game, ruining part of another game, which really ticked me off), and it made George useless. I didn't like the puzzles or characters in HAU.

I loved the setting though. TOT was just farm hand simulator. SCKR is soooo bad. The original game was so much better. SCKR ending spoilers (ICE gets a notable mention with Fox and Geese). My least favorite of the newer games would be.I actually dislike and like equal parts of most of these games. I loved the setting of TMB, and the characters were fine, though some things require specific triggers and that halted my first playthrough for a long time. Plus, some parts of the tomb's layout didn't make sense.

DED has epic music, and a cool premise, but the place was pretty boring. SPY had Nancy's past which was really cool, but I wasn't a big fan of the puzzles. MED didn't have a mystery really, but I did like how it did kind of feel like you were on the Amazing Race.

LIE had good characters, a cool stage, and an epic ending, but the stage makes no sense??? And I can't get over it???? Also, one of the puzzles is so infuriating. SEA just felt.bland to me. I can't pinpoint exactly what was wrong with it though. It's been a long time since I've touch the Nancy Drew games, and I haven't played much of the new ones.

I'll say that my favorite game (out of the ones I played) is 'The Final Scene.' The music and atmosphere was fantastic, the characters were interesting and well voice acted (though Falcone's accent was clearly fake), and the villain was nothing I've seen from the other games, and intimidating in his/her own right. The worst by far was Ransom of the Seven Ships.

Between the boring puzzles, the LouLou clone coming back to annoy me, the butchering of a character from a previous game, and the lack of a mystery (there is only one person you meet in the game who could constitute as a 'suspect'), it was just a complete mess. I also find that the better games in the Nancy Drew series are ones that don't completely break immersion. Pocket potions download. Most of the contraptions and treasures in the NC games are a bit over the top and unrealistic when you think about it, but others just jump the shark, like Miles, that AI robot thing from The Haunted Carousel, or the robot cat from Shadow at Water's Edge.
